Our Project Application
Before Knorr-Bremse Global Care e. V. approves the funding of a project, the underlying concept of the application must be carefully examined. In doing so we give preference to projects that address our key objective: promoting the impact-orientated self-sufficiency and self-responsibility of people in need.
On this site you can download the project application form and the guiding principles. We kindly ask you to read both documents carefully before applying for funding.
To ensure that our support is target-oriented and efficiently allocated, and the funds provided by us are used as effectively and meaningfully as possible, we require an application for funding that is based on a logical framework.
Only then can we contribute to structurally relevant and broad-based changes, open new perspectives and achieve a sustainable outcome.

Applications for Non-KB location countries
Applications or short project outlines can be submitted at any time after consultation with us. However, we would like to point out that since the beginning of 2021 Knorr-Bremse Global Care has increasingly been pursuing strategic partnerships with long-standing and proven partners. This is done in the interests of impact orientation, efficient use of funds, sustainability and better planning for all parties involved.

Our funding areas
Knorr-Bremse Global Care is guided by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Only measures in the areas of education (SDG 4 - Quality Education) and WASH (SDG 6 - Clean water and sanitation) will be supported. Measures for emergency aid are treated separately.
