Covid-19 Emergency Aid
Cooperation project in Kenya with World Vision
As an example of our emergency aid in 2020, we would like to present a very special cooperation project in Kenya with one of our longest-standing partner organizations, World Vision. In this project, measures are being implemented in the areas of WASH (water, hygiene and sanitation), health and nutrition to mitigate the effects of COVID-19. In the same way, livelihood opportunities will be created, so that in particular the loss of income of day laborers or in subsistence farming can be absorbed.

Washing hands has almost never been as important as it’s now during the COVID-19 pandemic. But what about regions, where water and hygiene are scarce? In cooperation with World Vision, the non-profit organization Knorr-Bremse Global Care has implemented a project in Kenya that uses various measures to support vulnerable communities in coping effectively with COVID-19.
